New Baltimore Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company (Station 10)
The NBVFRC is the busiest fire company in Fauquier County. This company normally responds to 911 calls from Vint Hill. The firehouse is manned by two career firefighters during business hours, Monday through Friday. At all other times the responders are volunteers. At present NBVFRC does not charge for emergency calls. The county Board of Supervisors has directed the company to charge for calls, starting in late 2007.
