Help -> javascript

JavaScript Disabled

You will see a note "JavaScript Disabled" at the top right side of this page (under the menu path displayed as "Help -> Javascript"), under one of the following conditions:

  • Some older browsers do not support JavaScript.
  • Your browser has been configured with a setting to disable JavaScript.

Navigation throughout this web site is limited without Javascript support. Therefore it is recommended that you enable Javascript if your browser supports it.

The following information may be of assistance to you if you wish to enable Javascript

  • Internet Explorer 6.0 (with SP2) and Internet Explorer 7.0 on Windows XP (also Windows Vista). The default Internet Security setting for these browsers is set to Medium-high, however, if the Internet Security setting is set high, JavaScript is disabled. Medium-high security is probably suitable for most sites.

    If you wish to change the security level of your Internet Security zone to enable JavaScript, click on the tools menu, then select the security tab. Select the Internet zone, and then move the slide to Medium-high.

    An alternative method is to enable JavaScript on a per site basis. If you wish to enable it for the Vint Hill Manor site, add vinthillmanor.org to your list of trusted sites. To do this, click on the tools menu, then select the security tab. Select the Trusted Sites zone and click on the sites button. You will see a list of trusted sites and you may add vinthillmanor.org to the list by clicking the add button.
